What is CBN?
CBN stands for cannabinol; it is one of the many chemical compounds in cannabis and hemp plants. It is only psychoactive if taken at very high doses. Compared to CBD, there isn’t as much research done on CBN.
What are the benefits?
CBN may have anti-inflammatory and anti-convulsant properties on its own. CBN may also act as an appetite stimulant in rats and could act as a pain reliever when combined with CBD. CBN may also have potential as a treatment for sleep disorders, pain relief, and inflammation.
CBD Vs CBN
There is much more research done on CBD compared to CBN. Likewise, CBD is much more accessible on the market compared to CBN. There are plenty of products that are only CBD, but not many products that are only CBN.
Is CBN legal?
Yes, as of 2021 CBN is legal.
Will it make me fail a drug test?
CBN is more likely to cause a false positive for marijuana than CBD; therefore, you may fail a drug test.
Where can you buy it?
Currently, there aren’t many products that are only CBN. Most items are CBN and CBD mixed together.
