What is CBG?
Cannabigerol (CBG) is a type of cannabinoid obtained from the cannabis plant, often referred to as the mother of all cannabinoids. Like CBD, it is non psychoactive. CBG is found in smaller quantities than other cannabinoids in cannabis plants, which can make it quite expensive.
What are the benefits?
CBG may be helpful with those who have irritable bowl syndrome by decreasing the inflammation characteristic associated with the syndrome. Likewise, CBG could help with glaucoma and Huntington’s disease. It may be neuroprotective and may help to fight against cancer.
CBD Vs CBG
Both CBG and CBD are non-psychoactive. However, most cannabis plants contain
only 1% of CBG, but up to 25% of CBD. Likewise, CBD and CBG interacts with our
endocannabinoid system. CBG directly
binds to both CB1 and CB2 receptors may be more efficient at delivering its
benefits into our systems. Additionally, CBG may be an appetite stimulation
while CBD may be more of an appetite suppressant.
Is CBG legal?
Yes, CBG is legal.
Will it make me fail a drug test?
CBG has a higher tendency to test positive for marijuana; therefore, you may fail a drug test taking CBG.
Where can you buy it?
Currently, there are flowers you can purchase that are high in CBG. Likewise you can also buy isolate CBG gummies oils as well.
